Madeline and Friends!

Dear readers,
Today I'll review the Madeline series, by Ludwig Bemelmans.
Madeline is a mischievous little girl who lives in an orphanage in Paris with twelve girls in it. Madeline is the youngest of all the girls.
She and the son of a Spanish Ambassador, Pepito, get into all sorts of problems and misadventures.
The books are written in a poem form which makes it all the more fun to read. You could also recite the poems like a song, too.
Ludwig Bemelmans is best known for the Madeline books. He has also written The Golden Basket and When You Lunch with the Emperor.
These books are recommended for ages 3-8. A television serial and a movie have also been made based on the book.
They are very funny and I love them a lot!
