All because of a Blue Umbrella

Hey, readers!
Today I'll review a book by Ruskin Bond, The Blue Umbrella.
Little Binya lives in a village in the part of the Himalayas known as Garwhal in India, surrounded by hilltops and dark forests.
When a group of tourists visit the village, she is fascinated by a blue umbrella they have.
She willingly trades her good luck charm for it. Nobody in the village ever has seen such an umbrella and soon Binya and her umbrella become well-known in the village.
Where ever Binya goes, the silk umbrella goes too.
They both have great adventures with Binya's elder brother Bijju.
Soon it becomes old and patchy, but Binya still loves it. And so does an old shopkeeper, who is very envious of her.
What will happen to the the blue umbrella?
Touching and soft, Ruskin Bond spins a great tale set in the mountains. The setting soon becomes part of the whole story, and the description is marvelous.
The story will touch your heart and it's very memorable.
