This Review is not Good For You...

Hey guys,
Recently, I've been reading this awesome series called the Secret Series by Pseudonymous Bosch. If you like mystery and secrets, this is the book for you (Oh, and by the way, this review isn't actually not good for you...I think).
The story is about a girl called Cassandra, who's nickname is Cass. Cass lives in _______ town, in _______ street and goes to _______ school. (Fill in the blanks yourself- nothing is revealed in the book, and Cass isn't even her real name. Ditto for everyone else in the series- that's why it's called the Secret Series.)
Anyway- Cass is a survivalist and has no friends at all- what she does have is her mom Mel, her trusty backpack, and her very pointy ears- that is, until she meets Max-Ernest, an extremely talkative boy. Together, they investigate a mysterious box that appears at her granddads' house. The box is called the Symphony of Smells and is filled with vials which contain smells in them. This one box leads them to a series of adventures with a boy called Benjamin Blake, and lands up with them finding out about a secret society, the Terces Society, which protects the Secret...
On the way, an odd Barbie look-alike and a old-yet-young man try to steal the Symphony of Smells, and Benjamin Blake. The first book ends with...a secret....
From then on, Cass and Max-Ernest get involved in mysterious quests for the Terces Society and get to know all sorts of dark things normal children should not know. (Then again, since when have the two friends ever been normal?)
Then, what happens is... another secret! Okay, maybe not, but I'm telling you to read the book if you want to know more.
As you probably guessed, 'Pseudonymous Bosch' is a pseudonym for the real author and nothing is revealed about him/her, except for that he/she is probably a member of the Terces Society and is a very bad secret-keeper.
The series consists of 'The Name of This Book is Secret,' 'If You're Reading This It's Too Late,' 'This Book is Not Good For You,' 'This Isn't What It Looks Like' and the latest book 'You Have to Stop This.'
I recommend this book for ages 9 and above. You'll love the series!

School Friends are Forever!

Hello everyone,
Today I'll be reviewing the School Friends series by Ann Bryant.
Silver Spires is a humongous school with many boarding houses: Beech, Oakley, Forest Ash, Hazeldean, Willowhaven, and Elmhurst. Each have different dorms with precious stone names.
There are two School Friends series by Ann Bryant.
Series One is about the girls in Amethyst dorm in the boarding house Hazeldean. Katy, Georgie, Mia, Naomi and Jess are all different yet they are all friends. All of them have their own story to tell and different passions. Pretty Katy loves fashion, hilarious Georgie can act, wise princess Naomi helps everybody, sporty Grace participates- and wins- competitions, musical Mia can play multiple instruments and daydreamer Jess is a great artist. All of them have secrets and hopes, dreams and determination.
These six girls have all sorts of problems, and they always help each other.
Books in this series are First Term at Silver Spires, Drama at Silver Spires, Rivalry at Silver Spires, Princess at Silver Spires, Secrets at Silver Spires and Star of Silver Spires.
Series Two is about the girls in Emerald dorm in the house Forest Ash.
Nicole, Izzy, Emily, Antonia, Sasha and Bryony are best friends who share secrets with each other. They know that together, they can do anything. Meet brainy Nicole, talented Izzy, feisty Emily,
bi-lingual Antonia, water-loving Sasha and tomboy Bryony.
The books in this series are Party at Silver Spires, Dancer at Silver Spires, Dreams at Silver Spires, Magic at Silver Spires, Success at Silver Spires and Mystery at Silver Spires.
Ann Bryant has also written the Ballerina Dreams series, William the Crack Shot Kid, Billy and the Parent Plan and many more.
I recommend this series for ages 9-12.
I like this series because of the description of the settings and plot and the jokes that are in it, although I personally like the first series better!

You're Invited to a Creepover...Again!

Hey guys,
Okay, I know that I already reviewed You're Invited to a Creepover: Ready for A Scare? way back in July 2014, but since then I have read more than two books of the same series and have decided to review the series itself now by P.J. Night.
Could you imagine that you are having a fun sleepover that suddenly turned into a- brr- a creepover. I sure can't! But I'm pretty sure that the girls in the creepover series can, since they've been in creepovers themselves!
Meet Abby, who's being haunted by a dead girl who lived in her neighborhood. Or knock on Emily's door, prepared to meet her and maybe her new friends... Log onto Kelly's webcam sleepover, if you dare, and disappear in a gust of peppermint aroma. Join Jenna's sleepover, maybe, and wait for the Marked Monster.
Werewolves, ghosts, vampires, zombies... each book has a different plot and story.
These books are rated usually from 3 to 5 on the Creep-o-meter.
Not much is known about the author P.J. Night except that he or she is a night owl and works in the early mornings to write these books (as written in Simon and Schuster). Some books of the series are Truth or Dare, You Can't Come in Here!, What a Doll!, The House Next Door, Your Worst Nightmare and many more.
I like these books a lot because they have good plots and they're really creepy (maybe P.J. Night really does work at night in a dark mansion). I recommend this series for tweens and ages 9 to 12.
Can't wait to get my hands on the next nightmare in the series...

Get Them!

Hello, everybody!
Recently I read this awesome book written by Hope McLean. It is the first book in the Jewel Society series, Catch Us If You Can.
Jasmine, Willow, Erin and new girl Lili go to the all girls school Martha Washington. For years, their school hasn't taken part in the Quiz Bowl, but ka-boom, the four best friends are chosen for their expertise in different subjects. Jasmine, for Science, Willow, for Math, Erin, for History and Lili, for Art, Literature, Culture, Fashion and a bunch of other stuff...(she's still working on it.)
The Jewels team are winning competitions and are so close to beating their rivals, the um... Rivals of Atkinson Prep.Suddenly, their confidence is nearly shattered when the heart of the school, the Martha Washington ruby is stolen from display.
That's when the girls must go undercover to find the thief...or thieves. Shockingly- or maybe not- the thieves are the Atkinson Rivals! But when the Jewels try to reveal the truth, nobody believes them and they are only humiliated in front of everybody.
That's when they find a shocking letter from Martha Washington, which can probably tell them the mystery of why the Rivals want the ruby...along with four other precious stones.
Can the Jewels prevent the Rivals from carrying out their dangerous plan? Can they get their self-esteem back?
Hope McLean has also written the other books in the series, Diamonds Are a Thief's Best Friend, Keep Friends Close Emeralds Closer and Battle of the Brightest.
I recommend this book for 8 and above.
Although the idea that middle-schoolers can so smoothly steal jewels is skeptical, I totally cannot wait till I can get my hands on the next book!

Gabi Esta Aqui! (That Means Gabi is Here!)

Hello, everyone!
Today I'm going to review the Get Ready for Gabi!: A Crazy Mixed-Up Spanglish Day by Marisa Montes.
Gabi is a feisty Spanish girl who is very proud that she can speak both English and Spanish fluently. She's got two best friends by her side- Devin and Jasmine- and an amazing, fun family. Her brother Miguelito is probably the best- well, noisy- brother you could ever imagine, her Papi, the absent-minded scientist, her Mami, a strict but kind mother and her Abuelita, the BEST GRANDMA EVER. Gabi's ready for anything, with her trusty sidekick, her red leather boots.
Okay... maybe not everything... Her worst enemy Johnny Wiley is totally driving her crazy. He's making her best friends upset and making her Little Buddy, Ceci, cry.
And now she's stuck with him for a whole month in a group project, along with Sissy Huffer, not a good friend. Then her Abuelita visits. Things could't get much worse, could they? That's what Gabi thinks until she finds out her Grandma SNORES. Now she can't sleep!
Gabi's so mad and tired that she can't speak properly. All her English words get mixed up with her Spanish words! Nobody understands what she's saying.
Will Gabi ever make sense again?
Marisa Montes has written the other books in this series: Who's That Girl?, No More Spanish, Please Don't Go, and All in the Familia.
I recommend this book for ages 7-10.

What Bad Luck!

Hey, everybody!
Imagine if you had the worst luck in the world. Nothing good would ever happen. Luckily, the Baundelaires from A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket are definitely lucky. Who wouldn't mind a mansion, wonderful parents and a future full of promise in store? Everybody would say the Baundelaire children are lucky.
Or...are they?
When the Baundelaire children find out that their parents have died in a sudden, mysterious fire, they're mortified. They're sent to live with a relative, Count Olaf, who says he'll treat them properly. But when three children have one tiny bed, a box for a closet, and when they have to cook for Olaf's theater troop- the man with the hook hand, the person who looks neither like a she or he and even more horrible people!
Suddenly, the youngest Baundelaire, Sunny, disappears, and Count Olaf threatens  Violet, the inventor and Klaus, the researcher, that he won't give her back until they give up their fortune...
Thrown into a world of mystery, V.F.D, guardians and horror, what measures will Violet, Klaus and Sunny take to escape from the wicked- and not to mention filthy- Count Olaf?
Will they ever solve the mystery of the sudden fire that took away their parents' lives?
Can they ever get away from Count Olaf?
There are 13 books in this series including The Bad Beginning and The Reptile Room.
Lemony Snicket is the pen name of an American author Daniel Handler, who is best known for his Series of Unfortunate Events. He has also written The Basic Eight, Who Could That Be At This Hour?, Lump of Coal and many more.
I recommend this book for ages 9 and above.
This series gets 10 out of 10 stars!

Get in a Mood!

Hello, everyone
Today I'm going to review the Judy Moody and the NOT Bummer Summer by Megan McDonald.
Judy Moody is typical girl from Virginia, the USA. Only sometimes she gets into her moods too often...
Judy can't wait to have the Best Summer Ever with her friends Amy Namey, Rocky and Frank. She's planned the best summer ever. She's created a competition for everyone  and who ever gets the most thrill points for having fun officially has had the Best Summer Ever. But when Judy finds out that her friend Rocky is going to Circus Camp, and that Amy is going to go save a lost tribe in Borneo, Judy finds out that she's going to have a totally Bummer Summer.
Things get even worse when her Aunt Awful (um, sorry, Opal) comes to visit. How is Judy going to get out of this horrible mess?
That's when Judy gets an idea. How about continuing the contest through a race? That way, everyone can see who else is doing what and who is having a great summer. Judy can't wait to get enough thrill points to win.
But how do you win a competition when you get puked on by your best friend, or when your hand gets stuck to the table? And what happens when your younger brother Stink is a Bigfoot Believer?
Judy might not be having the time of her life, but this is one summer she'll never forget!
Megan McDonald is an American author. In the Judy Moody series, she has also written The Doctor is Here!, Judy Mood was in a Mood, Judy Moody Predicts the Future, Judy Mood Around the World in 8 1/2 Days and many more. She has also written a series for Judy's brother Stink: Stink and the Midnight Zombie, Stink and the Great Guinea Pig Express and more. She has also written many other books such as Rule of Three.
I recommend this book from ages 6 to ages 9.
This book has been made into a movie and I really love it!

1936: Brandon Lake, the Invisible Detective

Calling all bookworms!
Imagine, if you were invisible, it would be so easy to investigate mysteries, wouldn't it? But being  invisible isn't possible! Or is it?
London, 1936: Art and his friends Meg, Jonny and Flinch are four extraordinary kids- or detectives- who fight crime- but how? These four kids unite and act as one man: The Invisible Detective a.k.a Brandon Lake. Brandon Lake seems like a shadowy detective to the people of London, but he's just the creation of Art, Meg, Jonny and Flinch.
He- or perhaps they- hold sessions every Monday evening. Pay six pence and get your mystery solved by next week's session. But sometimes the mysteries are quiet abnormal....
What can four kids do if ghost soldiers stalk through London, or monsters crawl the sewers or very strange, familiar puppets come to town?
London, today: When young Arthur Drake enters the old- supposedly haunted- antique shop, he is given a strange old stone and the old, yellowing casebook of the Invisible Detective by the shop owner. Suddenly thrown into the world full of strange dreams and images, monsters and ancestors, Arthur realizes he shares a special link with the Invisible Detective!
Can Arthur find out more about the past and about the Invisible Detective with whom he shares a mysterious connection?
Justin Richards is a British writer whose most books take place during Victorian times or 20th century London. He has also written the Doctor Who books, Tears of the Oracle, Time Runners, The Doomsday Manuscript and many more books too. I recommend this book to ages 8 and above.
Anthony Horowitz, author of the Groosham Grange and The Diamond Brothers series says,"extremely enjoyable... I am a fan of the Invisible Detective."
I also give this series 10/10 stars!

And You Thought You Class Was Spooky!

Hey guys,
Sorry I haven't posted a review for some time now, but now I have a chilling, hair-raising series to review, called Ghostville Elementary written by Debbie Dadey and Marcia Thornton Jones.
Sleepy Hollow: A quiet, normal town with a quiet, perfectly normal school- except for one fact. There are rumors that ghosts haunt the basement of the school!
When Mr. Morton's third grade class moves down into the basement, none of them know what to expect. Turns out, the rumors are true! But only three best friends know the truth. Nina, Jeff and Cassidy are the kids chosen to be seen by the ghost.
None of the ghosts are really scary: Ozzy, the bully, Calliope and her ghost kitten Cocomo, Becky, Ozzy's sister, Edgar, a ghost who lives in a picture and loves writing spooky stories, Sadie, the sad ghost, and Harvey, the ghost dog, are just spooks that used to go to Sleepy Hollow Elementary.
The ghosts aren't at all harmful- except for the fact that they cause too much trouble!
Will Jeff, Nina and Cassidy be able to stop the ghosts from fooling around- and haunting around?
Debbie Dadey and Marcia Thornton Jones have also written the famous Bailey School Kids series, in which a group of four kids have to deal with the strange grownups that live in Bailey City.
These books have a very interesting plot although they may be slightly boring at some points. If you want a quick, interesting read, though, then this could be your ideal book.
I recommend this book for ages 7 to 10 years.
This series is very interesting, and although they are not as scary as horror movies, they are worth a good read!

Fame is Just an Audition Away!

Hello, all!
Scene 1: Cut!
How would you feel if you were a star, signing autographs and waving at your fans? To do this, the best option would be to go to Star School and learn! At least, that's what the characters do in the Star School series by Chrissie Perry.
In the books there are three girls: Chloe, Sarah, and last but not least, Alex.
All three girls have different lives, ambitions, talents and dreams. Chloe is beautiful, and wants to be a great dancer. Sarah is more of a rebel and can't wait to be a singer. Alex has got big-time X-factor (the thing that makes you interesting to watch) and is anticipating for the day she can become an actress. But fate draws these girls together for the Star School entrance audition.
Can the girls make their big dreams come true?
Can they make the best of it at Star School, and what sort of adventures will they have with their friends?
Lastly, can they make it to Star School?
Chrissie Perry has written many successful books for children and young adults. She has written a few stories in the Go Girl! series and the Star School series.
I recommend this series from ages 8 to 12.
Oh, by the way, you can subscribe to my blog in the Follow my Reviews section on the right side near the top!
Thanks!

The Way of the Warrior

Hey, everybody!
I'm going to review the Young Samurai series written by Chris Bradford.
Shipwrecked on the coast of Japan, his ship crew killed by ninja pirates, Jack is the only survivor of his father's crew. His only possession is his father's rutter- a navigational logbook that allows the owner of it to be able to rule the seas. Hurt and alone, Jack is lost, his murky future unknown. Suddenly, his life is turned around when he is found and adopted by Masamoto Takeshi, a samurai master. He is taken to Masamoto's school, where he is trained to be a samurai.
But his life is threatened at every moment, because the assassin ninja, Dokugan Ryu- or Dragon Eye- is after his father's rutter. He will do anything to get it- even kill.
Life in the samurai school is not easy, especially when he is bullied by Kazuki, and when he is considered a foreigner, or barbarian, a gaijin.
Yet, along the way, he meets his friends: Akiko, a master with the bow and arrow, Yamato, the Masamoto's son, Kiku, who is an expert in origami, and a few more samurai-in-training.
But can he keep his rutter safe, protect his friends, travel back to England and become a true samurai?
Chris Bradford is a musician, author and a black-belt martial artist. He has also written the Bodyguard series. The books in the Young Samurai series are The Way of the Warrior, The Way of the Sword, The Way of the Dragon, The Ring of Earth, The Ring of Water, The Ring of Fire, The Ring of Wind, and, finally, The Ring of Sky.
This is a great series and can teach you about feudal Japan and its culture.
I recommend this book from ages 9 and above.
I totally love this series and give it 5 stars!

You're Invited to a Creepover!

Hey, fellow bookworms!
Today I'll review the You're Invited to a Creepover: Ready for a Scare? book.
Mistress of Frights and Queen of Scares Kelly Garcia is going to have a birthday sleepover! There's going to be music, snacks, fun- and best of all- spooky stories! Kelly can't wait to scare her friends and play games.
At least, that's until she finds out that she can't have the birthday sleepover. Kelly and her little brother Ryan are going to have a babysitter!
Then Kelly has a great idea. What about a webcam sleepover? All of Kelly's friends are thrilled to have a webcam sleepover- it sounds fun!
Kelly and her friends talk and tell stories to each other. That's when they agree to summon the spirit of Miss Mary, a girl who died tragically in their town a long time ago. It was supposed to be pretend- right?
Wrong!
After they summon Miss Mary, all of Kelly's friends start to go missing. They won't answer their phones or reply. The only clue they leave behind is a mysterious blood-red screen. Even Kelly's brother is frozen and he won't move!
Does this have something to do with Chrissie, the babysitter who's been acting odd all night, or Gavin, the new boy who acts as though he knows something suspicious? And what is that odd peppermint smell coming from the computer?
Whatever is the answer, Kelly's definitely in for a surprise!
This book is the third book in the Creepover series, written by P.J. Night. Some of the other books are What a Doll!, Together Forever, Home Sweet Haunt, Truth Or Dare, The Show Must Go On, Read It and Weep!, Is She For Real? and many more books.
I recommend this book for ages 8-12.
I love this book a lot and you should read it!

But, sometimes you have to be very very careful what you wish for...
And what happens when you turn into a half-ghost, or if your cat can half-speak, or you are half-not in the family? Things can get confusing!

I'm A Storybook Character!

Hey, everyone!
What would it be like to be a storybook character? To try to experience that, I'm reviewing The Great Good Thing by Roderick Townley.
Sylvie leads a very interesting life as a storybook character. She gets to nestle among the words in her book, enact her story, and actually 'feel' the pictures. But all Sylvie wants is to go to the outside world and see other books and get a new story to act.
Then an unfortunate turn of events happen, and Sylvie and her storybook characters are forced to retreat across the ocean. They end up in a strange land- in the brain and memory of a girl. There Sylvie meets a strange blue-eyed girl who tells them all about this land. The girl warns them that soon they will become the forgotten and they will cease to exist.
Sylvie needs to find a way to save her family and friends. Can she do it?
Roderick Townley is an American writer of children's books and also poetry books. The Great Good Thing is the first book in the series The Sylvie Cycle. The other two books are Into The Labyrinth and The Constellation of Sylvie.
I recommend this book to ages 9 and above.
I truly loved this book and I rate it 5 stars!
You should really check it out!

It All Starts With Three Wishes...

Hello, everybody!
What would you do with three wishes? I know what I would wish for! That's why I'm reviewing the Children of the Lamp series.
Phillipa and John Gaunt are not identical twins, who are very close to each other and live in New York City. The series first starts when the twins both get their wisdom teeth when they're twelve! And when their housekeeper wishes that she can win a lottery, it really does happen! When their parents start whispering among themselves, they know that something is wrong.
That's when they learn that they are descended from a long line of djinn- that is, genies- and they now have the power to grant wishes and perform magic.
The kids are thrown into the world of  magic, mystery, luck, good and evil. They learn more about their family and the djinn world.
The books in the series are The Akhenaten Adventure, The Blue Djinn of Babylon, The Cobra King of Kathmandu, the Day of the Djinn Warriors, The Eye of the Forest and more.

Ivan is a  mighty, gentle silverback gorilla who lives in The Big Top Mall with his friends Stella the elephant  Bob the stray dog and Julie, a young girl. Although he was born in the wild, he can't remember anything about his life in the jungle.
When new baby elephant Ruby enters his life, everything changes. With the help of Stella and Bob, he sees his old home through new eyes and realizes that he has to stop Ruby from becoming just like them.
Using his artistic skills, Ivan hatches a plan to get to freedom. A journey of courage, bravery and compassion follows.

The Big Red Dog

Hello, readers!
Today I'll review the Clifford: The Big Red Dog series by Norman Bridwell.
The main character is a girl, Emily Elizabeth, and her beloved dog, Clifford. Now, Clifford was much bigger than other dogs- as big as a house- and he was also the color red!
Emily Elizabeth got the dog from a neighbor who's dog had tiny puppies. The neighbor offered that she could take one home.
She wanted a little red dog, but the neighbor told her it was a runt and would always be sick.
However, she still chose the little red dog and named him Clifford. But soon, Clifford became as big as a house and they had to move to the country!
Clifford and Emily Elizabeth are best friends and they have many adventures with each other, along with other dogs and Emily Elizabeth's friends.
There are many books in the series, including Clifford's Halloween, Clifford Runs to Story Time, Clifford's Happy Mother's Day and many more. There are also special editions too.
Norman Bridwell has also written The Witch Next Door, which is about a kind witch. He got the idea of Clifford when he read about a large working dog in Belgium who used to pull carts.
These books are recommended for preschoolers to age eight.
I love these books because they are really nice and have great ideas!

13: The Unlucky Number

Hey, guys!
Recently I read this awesome book, called Room 13. It's written by Robert Swindells.
The night before Year 7 heads on a week long excursion at Whitby, Fliss gets a nightmare.
In her dream there's an old house. A room. A figure. Something that scares her so much that she is almost convinced that she shouldn't go to Whitby. But she does.
There, weird things happen in the Crow's Nest Hotel. Things are happening at midnight each night. Ellie-May, a girl in the class goes into Room 13 in the middle of the night.
The odd thing is, during the day Room 13 is just a linen cupboard, but at night the number 13 appears above the door.
Fliss knows something is going on inside the cupboard with Ellie-May. So, she and her fellow classmates Lisa, Gary and David try to guess what's going on.
With the help of a mad lady, Old Sal, Fliss learns the history of the Hotel and figures out what monster is hiding in Room 13.
Will they be able to destroy the monster in Room 13?
Robert Swindells has also written Ice Palace and Dracula's Castle.
This book is very good due to the fact that it's not very scary.
I recommend this book for ages 8 and above. I really love this book a lot!

On the Golden Brick Road...

Hello, readers!
Remember I reviewed the Wizard of Oz book? Well, most people don't know this, but there is actually a book series called Oz that takes place in the land of Oz, written by L. Frank Baum!
The series usually introduces new characters in each book. The Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, Dorothy and the Cowardly Lion are also in the series.
In Oz, many magical problems erupt. Ozma, the real ruler of Oz goes missing, the Tin Woodman is searching for the Munchkin he loved before he turned into Tin, everybody goes overboard trying to give Ozma the perfect gift, people are performing magic without permission...
To sum it up, there are many different plots in the series! I love the different problems there are and I think this series is totally amazing.
In each book at the beginning before the story, L. Frank Baum writes a note about what inspired him to write the story. These books are usually written in three-in-one form with three stories in one large book.
L. Frank Baum wrote once that these books are for all those whose heart is young, no matter the age.
I love these books a lot! I give them a five-star rating.
You guys should definitely try this series out!
By the way, this is my 50th post! I've completed half a century!

My Stuffed Tiger is Alive!

Hey guy!
Today I'm going to review the Calvin and Hobbes comic books today.
Calvin is a very, very naughty 6-year-old with a stuffed tiger, Hobbes, who is alive. Or at least he thinks so...
Both of them are always getting into trouble with Calvin's Mom and Dad in hilarious situations!
Calvin hates one of his neighbors, Susie, because she's smarter than him and everybody thinks she's better. He always tries to take advantage of her and always throws snowballs at her.
He also gets in trouble with his teacher and gets bad grades, not much to the surprise of his parents. He keeps on coming up with weird and dangerous ideas and rides his wagon down the hill with Hobbes!
Calvin and Hobbes is written by Bill Watterson, an American artist and author. His Calvin and Hobbes comic strips are also published in many newspapers.
These books are for ages 7 and above.
Some Calvin and Hobbes books are Revenge of the Baby-Sat, Homicidal Psycho Jungle Cat, Yukon Ho!, and many more.
I love these comics and they will keep you in stitches!

These are MY Rules...

Hello friends!
I'm going to review the Allie Finkle's Rules for Girls series by Meg Cabot. The books are for girls, hence the title.
Allie is moving away from her old house, and her best friends! Correction: Ex-best friends. Then she finds out that her new house could possibly be haunted... Could things get worse?
Yes, they could, when Allie is bullied by the meanest girl in fourth grade, Rosemary, and when a new mean girl Cheyenne moves in too...
Luckily, though, she finds new friends and a best friend, Erica. The girls help Allie get used to her new school and life.
A lot of funny things happen in the series when Allie gets over her fears and realizes how important her friends are to her. Allie has a lot of family and friend issues, too.
Will Allie be able to settle down in her new town?
Meg Cabot is an award winning author of Avalon High and the Princess Diaries books. She has also written Airhead and Mediator.
I recommend these books for girls 8 and above. These books will put a smile on your face!

On her birthday, Cassie enters a Lucky Dip and gets a beautiful silver bracelet. That same night, she meets Stella Starkeeper, who trains boys and girls to be Lucky Stars. Lucky Stars are people who can grant wishes.

Do Fairies Exist?

Hello, everyone!
I'll review the Rainbow Magic series today, by Daisy Meadows!
Kirsty and Rachel are two girls who meet on the magical Rainspell Island. The two girls soon become best friends and decide to explore the island.
While they're exploring, they find an old black pot at the end of the rainbow. Then they discover that fairies do really exist- and they need the girls' help!
The girls are transported to Fairyland and find out that Jack Frost, the evil ice wizard, is making sure that there will be no more fairy magic in the world by stealing the fairies' things!

The Boy With the Biggest Head in the World!

Hey guys!
Today I'll review the Big Nate series, by Lincoln Peirce [pronounced 'purse'].
Nate is an average sixth grade boy who loves skateboarding, cartooning and his pals, Francis and Teddy. But he always has out-of-the-ordinary problems and adventures!
He hates Gina, a smug smarty-pants girl and Artur, aka Mr. Perfect, who make his life more hard. And when you've got a dog like Spitsy next door and a sister who thinks she's the best, life isn't so easy.
Nate always has odd plans to get out of trouble, which he displays in comics, which will amuse the reader. In each book there might be one or two problems.
These books are very funny and are for ages 8 and above.
Lincoln Peirce is a cartoonist and writer. Lincoln's main inspiration for Nate were his own experiences when he was in sixth grade.
I love these books a lot and they always entertain me no matter how many times I read the books!

I Have a Unicorn!

Hello, everyone!
Magical creatures are totally amazing...even unicorns, so today I'm reviewing the My Secret Unicorn series by Linda Chapman.
The books are about Lauren Foster, a girl in the country who buys a scruffy old pony because she thinks there's something special about him. She's correct!
For this grey pony is actually a unicorn called Twilight! And if Lauren says a spell, then Twilight transforms!
They have all sorts of adventures with their friends. The only people who know Twilight's secret are Michael, Lauren's friend, Rosie, and Mrs. Fontana, an old woman.
Can Lauren keep Twilight's secret?
Linda Chapman has written over a hundred books for children. She got the idea for the series while taking care of a seven-year-old who loved ponies. The My Secret Unicorn series also appears in two-in-one editions.
These books are for ages 7 to 10.
I like these books a lot, and you should read them!

Me and My Magic Powers

Hello, readers,
Recently I read an awesome book: The Witch of Turlingham Academy by Ellie Boswell.
The story is about Sophie Morrow, who's mother is the headmistress of Turlingham Academy. It's bad enough being the only day boarder girl in the school, but soon things get worse when a new girl appears.
At first, Katy Gibson seems sweet and shy, but soon she takes away all of Sophie's friends- like magic! Katy says weird things on the phone and seems to take an interest in Sophie's best friend, Erin.
Sophie is convinced that Katy's a witch, but it's actually the opposite! Katy's a witch-hunter, and she needs to stay undercover because there's a witch in Turlingham!
Sophie offers to help Katy, because the sooner they find the witch, the sooner Katy'll go away. While she's investigating, she sees that all the clues point to her! Sophie has to keep the secret, but soon Katy and Sophie become best friends. Can Sophie keep her secret safe?
This is the first book in the Witch of Turlingham Academy series.
Ellie Boswell is the author of this series.
I totally loved this book. It's five stars and I recommend it for ages 11 and above.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang: The Wonder Car

Hey, guys!
What would you have done if you had a magical car that had its own feelings? Go on adventures, of course, like the Potts and Tooting families do, in the series of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!
Chitty is a wonder car who can fly and swim. In the first book, the Potts family owns Chitty but from the second book onward, she is owned by the Tootings. These two families go adventuring all over the world in their car.
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang takes them to Egypt, Paris, even Madagascar! But both families face the same problem: apparently, Chitty's a magnet for robbers and thieves! The car can do all sorts of marvelous things, including time-traveling...
This is a great series for almost all ages, with great, mind-blowing suspense and adventure.
The first book, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is written by Ian Fleming, author of the James Bond series. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Flies Again, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and the Race Against Time and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Over the Moon are written by Frank Cottrell Boyce.
These books are for ages 8 and above.
This is a very creative series and I love it!
