I'm A Storybook Character!

Hey, everyone!
What would it be like to be a storybook character? To try to experience that, I'm reviewing The Great Good Thing by Roderick Townley.
Sylvie leads a very interesting life as a storybook character. She gets to nestle among the words in her book, enact her story, and actually 'feel' the pictures. But all Sylvie wants is to go to the outside world and see other books and get a new story to act.
Then an unfortunate turn of events happen, and Sylvie and her storybook characters are forced to retreat across the ocean. They end up in a strange land- in the brain and memory of a girl. There Sylvie meets a strange blue-eyed girl who tells them all about this land. The girl warns them that soon they will become the forgotten and they will cease to exist.
Sylvie needs to find a way to save her family and friends. Can she do it?
Roderick Townley is an American writer of children's books and also poetry books. The Great Good Thing is the first book in the series The Sylvie Cycle. The other two books are Into The Labyrinth and The Constellation of Sylvie.
I recommend this book to ages 9 and above.
I truly loved this book and I rate it 5 stars!
You should really check it out!
